This is the opportunity of a golfing lifetime to caddy for PGA TOUR golfer Stewart Cink in his pro am round at the first of the FedEx Cup Playoffs at the Barclays. The 2010 Barclays will be held again at the Ridgewood Country Club in Paramus, NJ. The tournament dates are August 23 - August 29, 2010. The caddy date for Stewart will be on Wednesday, August 25, 2010. Cink won his first golf major at the 2009 Open Championship.
Alabama native and current Georgia resident, Stewart Cink, has been a golf professional since 1995 while he was still at student at Georgia Tech. During his professional career, Cink has had five PGA TOUR victories, including his major championship playoff victory over Tom Watson at the 2009 British Open Championship. Cink’s other PGA TOUR wins include: The 1997 Canon Greater Hartford Open; The 2000 MCI Classic; The 2004 MCI Heritage and WGC-NEC Invitational tournaments. He has led the PGA TOUR statistics in putting and currently ranks 10th in PGA TOUR career earnings.
Although Cink has consistently had many good playing seasons and moved over the $25-million career earning level in 2008, the 2009 season could rank as his best thus far with his British Open Championship victory, finishing the year ranked 16th in the Official World Golf Rankings. Cink has already had two top-10 finishes in 2010 and is on track for another great season. He is a veteran U.S. Team Ryder Cup and President’s Cup member having played on four teams for each event, as well as two World Cup teams.
Stewart, who made his home in Georgia following his collegiate career at Georgia Tech, is a strong family man, married to his college sweetheart and proud father of two boys. He is an avid outdoorsman enjoying cycling, hiking, camping and skiing and is a big NHL Thrashers hockey fan.
