Wisconsin native, Steve Stricker, is at his all time career high on the PGA TOUR, presently being ranked #2 in the world. His 2009 season was clearly his best yet posting three wins, two second, one third and another impressive 11 top 10 finishes. But his path to this rank since turning professional in 1990 hasn’t come easy.

Stricker began his professional career on the Canadian Tour in 1990 where he went on win The Canadian Open that year. He followed this win with his second on the Canadian Tour in 1994 at the Canadian PGA Championship. He joined the PGA TOUR that same year and a short two years later, in 1996 Stricker showed he had ability to play at the top level by posting two wins and seven top 10 finishes, catapulting him into 4th in PGA TOUR earnings for the year.

But his PGA TOUR took a somewhat unexpected turn a few years later when Stricker eventually lost his full playing privileges in 2004 and had to rely on sponsor’s exemptions. By 2006, Stricker was able to post seven top 10 finishes earning the title of PGA TOUR Comeback Player of the Year. He was able to keep his good form into 2007, qualifying for the President’s Cup, winning The Barclays, and finishing the year ranked #2 behind Tiger Woods in FedEx Cup points. Since 2007, Stricker has ranked in the top 10 in the world for over 80 weeks.

Join Steve Stricker at the start of the FedExCup Playoffs at The Barclays at Ridgestone Country Club. See his smooth swing and amazing putting in person, inside the ropes. Be with him at the event that turned his career back on track with a win in 2007. It will be an unforgettable experience!
